Wrexby Outfitters is fictional
Wrexby Outfitters, its stores, its staff, its warehouse, its products and its history are inventions. The company exists so that readers of the Atarus Offensive Security book series have one organisation to assess, chapter after chapter, without touching anyone real. Any resemblance to a real business, place or person is unintended. The towns of Wrexby, Alderstoke and Carnmoor are fictional, the telephone numbers use the 555-01 range reserved for fiction, and nothing on this site is for sale.
Who owns the domain
wrexby.com was registered on 31 October 2026 by Atarus Offensive Security LLC and is run by the firm for the book series. Questions about the domain go through atarussecurity.com.
No email
This domain sends no email and receives none. It publishes a null MX record, a reject-all SPF record and a reject DMARC policy. Any message that claims to come from an address at wrexby.com is forged; the addresses that appear in the books exist only inside a reader's lab.
Ground rules for readers
- Passive only, out here. Look up the registration, the DNS records, the certificate and these pages as the chapters direct. Do not scan, probe or attack this host. It is a static site on a shared platform, and the platform is not in scope.
- Everything active runs in your lab. Hostnames such as wrexby-ws01 or shop.wrexby.lab in the books resolve inside your own lab network, never on the public internet.
- Found something real? Report it through the contact in security.txt.
Privacy
This site is static. It sets no cookies, runs no scripts, has no forms and collects nothing. The hosting platform keeps ordinary connection logs for its own operation.
